Research overview
CJC-1295 with DAC is a synthetic analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone, built on a modified GRF 1-29 backbone with an added C-terminal lysine that carries a drug affinity complex. It is studied in vitro and in preclinical models of GHRH receptor signalling and growth-hormone axis regulation. Supplied at 2mg for in-vitro laboratory research only.
The GHRH receptor is a G protein-coupled receptor on pituitary somatotroph cells, and its activation raises intracellular cAMP. Native GHRH is broken down quickly by peptidases. The D-alanine at position 2 of this sequence is intended to resist that cleavage. The drug affinity complex is a maleimide-based group that has been described as binding serum albumin covalently, which is reported to extend how long the peptide persists in albumin-containing systems.
In the laboratory, GHRH analogues are used in receptor-binding assays, cAMP accumulation assays and primary pituitary cell cultures, where growth-hormone release into the medium is measured by immunoassay. Stability work often follows peptide persistence in serum-containing media by HPLC or mass spectrometry. This product is supplied as a lyophilised powder.

Questions
How does CJC-1295 with DAC differ from CJC-1295 without DAC?
Both share a modified GRF 1-29 backbone. The with-DAC form adds a C-terminal lysine carrying a maleimide-based drug affinity complex, reported to bind albumin and lengthen persistence. The without-DAC form has no such group.
How is it supplied and stored?
It is supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 2mg vial. Keep it cold, dry and protected from light, then reconstitute with a suitable laboratory diluent when it is needed.
Is CJC-1295 with DAC a medicine?
No. It is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not a medicine, food or supplement, and it is not for human or animal use. Buyers must be aged 18 or over.
