Research Use Policy
Everything we sell is supplied for in-vitro laboratory research and nothing else. This policy explains what that means for you and for us.

This Research Use Policy explains the basis on which LABS PTG (“we”, “us”) supplies peptides and laboratory chemicals through this website. It is part of our Terms and Conditions and should be read with them, and it applies to every order we accept. If this policy and the Terms and Conditions disagree, the Terms and Conditions prevail.
Research use only
Every product we supply is provided strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. In-vitro research means work carried out outside the living body of a person or animal, such as experiments in culture dishes or test tubes, or on analytical instruments and comparable laboratory systems.
Because of this, we give no advice on dosing, preparation or use, and nothing on this website is medical advice.
Products are not medicines
None of the products we sell is:
- intended for use as an ingredient in food, supplements, nutraceuticals or cosmetics;
- covered by an authorisation under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012;
- offered as a means of diagnosing, treating, preventing or curing any medical, cosmetic or veterinary condition, or meant for that purpose; or
- meant to be administered to humans or animals, or presented as suitable for that.
No marketing authorisation has been granted for any of our products in the United Kingdom, and the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has not evaluated them for their safety or effectiveness in humans or animals.
What you agree when you order
Anyone who places an order with us represents, warrants and confirms that:
- they are aged 18 or over;
- their purchase is solely for in-vitro laboratory research;
- they will neither give any of our products to a person or an animal nor arrange for anyone else to do so;
- they will comply with every local, national and international law that governs the receiving, storing, using and disposing of research chemicals; and
- once the products have been delivered, sole responsibility for their storage, handling, onward use and disposal rests with them.
Prohibited uses
Our products must never be used for:
- recreational use;
- consumption by humans or animals;
- cosmetic applications;
- use as an additive in food or as a dietary supplement;
- incorporation into any medicine or medical device; or
- any clinical, medical, diagnostic or therapeutic purpose.
Any use beyond the permitted research purpose is expressly forbidden.
Right to refuse orders
We may refuse or cancel any order if the pattern of purchasing, the customer’s communications or other information reasonably points to an intended use that conflicts with this policy. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.
Quality and documentation
Every batch is tested by HPLC and by mass spectrometry, and our purity specification is 99 percent or higher by HPLC. The certificate of analysis for each batch is filed by lot number on our lab testing page.
