Questions

FAQs

Many questions are answered below, so please read through the answers before you contact us.

Orders and delivery

How do I track my order?

We dispatch orders every day except Sunday. As soon as your parcel is on its way we email you a tracking number, which lets you follow it with Royal Mail and see when it is due to arrive.

If the email does not arrive, have a look in your junk or spam folder too.

My order has not arrived yet. What should I do?

Begin with your tracking link before you contact us. The tracking email is sent when your parcel is dispatched, and delivery normally takes 1 to 2 working days.

If tracking shows the parcel is in transit, allow a little longer for it to arrive. Contact us only if there has been no tracking update for over 5 days, or if the tracking shows a delivery problem.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Sadly the delivery address cannot be changed once your order has been dispatched, so please make sure it is right before you finish ordering.

How do you ship peptides?

We send peptides in lyophilised (freeze-dried) form, which keeps them stable while they are in transit.

Our packaging also shields them from environmental risks, direct sunlight in particular, so that they reach you in good condition.

Can you ship to my country?

At present we deliver to UK addresses only. International delivery will follow at a later date.

What is the latest time for same-day dispatch?

Monday to Friday, orders paid before 16:00 are dispatched the same day. The Saturday collection is earlier, which means your payment must reach us before 12:00 that day. We cannot guarantee next-day delivery.

Do you dispatch for Saturday delivery?

An order paid before 16:00 on Friday is dispatched that same day and may arrive on Saturday, although next-day delivery is not guaranteed.

What is the MOQ for wholesale?

MOQ means minimum order quantity. Our whole catalogue can be bought wholesale, provided you order at least 50 units.

Can I pre-order an item that is sold out?

Pre-orders are not available, so a sold-out item cannot be reserved. Please check back for it, or email hello@labsptg.com to ask about availability.

Do you offer freeze packs for shipping?

We do. Freeze packs can be added on request to any order that needs temperature-controlled shipping. Email hello@labsptg.com before your order is dispatched and we will let you know the price.

How are peptides created?

Peptides are built by joining amino acids together with peptide bonds. A bond forms when the amino group (NH₂) of one amino acid links to the carboxyl group (COOH) of another, and a molecule of water is released. Peptides take part in many biological processes, and scientists commonly use them in research.

Each amino acid is built around a central carbon atom that carries an amino group, a carboxyl group, a hydrogen atom (H) and a side chain of its own, known as the R group. The side chains are protected for a time during assembly so that they cannot interfere with the bonds forming.

In the laboratory, peptides are usually made by solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). The first amino acid is attached to a resin with its amino group protected. The protection is then removed, the next amino acid is added and a peptide bond forms. This cycle is repeated until the required sequence is complete. Finally an acid separates the peptide from the resin and strips off the remaining protecting groups, leaving the finished peptide.

This method allows scientists to make tailored peptides for research and other specialist applications.

How should peptides be stored?

Keep unused peptides frozen and sealed with a desiccant, which guards against moisture.

Storing them properly helps prevent bacterial degradation, oxidation and unwanted structural changes, so the quality of the peptide is preserved for several years.

Do you stock GLP-1 medications like Retatrutide?

Our range does not include GLP-1 receptor agonists, among them Retatrutide, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, because each of them is a licensed medicine.

How do I use your products?

Everything we sell is supplied strictly for research use, so we are unable to offer any advice on using the products.

Payment and returns

What payment methods are accepted?

You pay by bank transfer. Once you place an order we show our bank details and your order number, which you should use as the payment reference. We do not take cards, wallets or cash.

We hold an unpaid order for 3 working days, and we dispatch it as soon as your payment reaches us.

How can I get a refund?

When your return has reached us, we will email you to arrange the refund.

What should I do if there is an issue with my purchase?

Our team is glad to help. The quickest step is to respond to the confirmation email for your order; if you cannot find it, it may have landed in your junk folder.

We aim to put any problem right as quickly as we can.

About us

Why do research professionals trust LABS PTG?

At LABS PTG, customer satisfaction sits at the centre of what we do. We aim to make ordering smooth by offering high-quality products, clear and open information, and support that responds promptly.

We test every batch for identity and purity before it is released, and we source carefully. That commitment to quality control and reliable sourcing lets customers count on the consistency and integrity of our peptides.

We are a small team, so we may not reply to questions that these FAQs already answer. Enquiries that are not needed delay order processing and make it harder for us to hold our prices at a competitive level. Our response times are those of a small business rather than a large marketplace. Please keep all communication respectful, because abusive or rude messages may lead to restrictions on future orders.
