How Ordering Works
You pay by bank transfer, which adds one step compared with a card checkout. This is how it works from start to finish.
Step 1
Choose
Add what you need to your basket and go to checkout, where you confirm that you are 18 or over and buying for research.
Step 2
Pay by bank transfer
Pay the total from your own bank, with your order number as the payment reference.
Step 3
Dispatched same day
Pay before 16:00, Monday to Friday, and your order leaves us that day by Royal Mail Tracked 24, free over £20.00.
The bank transfer flow
- Place your order. Fill your basket, enter your delivery details and confirm the research-use declarations. You then receive an order number.
- Open the payment page. It lists our bank details and your order number, which doubles as your payment reference.
- Make the transfer. Use your banking app or online banking, enter the order number as the reference and send the exact total.
- We mark it paid. Once the funds reach our account, we match them to your order by the reference and mark it as paid.
- We dispatch. An order paid before 16:00, Monday to Friday, or before 12:00 on a Saturday, goes out the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 24, which is free over £20.00. Royal Mail Special Delivery is used for high value orders. Anything paid later goes out on the next dispatch day, as we do not ship on Sundays.
If something goes wrong
If you forgot the reference, email hello@labsptg.com with your order number and the name on the paying account, and we will match the payment by hand.
We hold an unpaid order for 3 working days. If no payment has arrived by then, the order is cancelled, and you are welcome to place it again.
Why bank transfer
It keeps ordering simple. We do not take cards, so we never see or store your card details.
