Research overview
Prostamax is a short bioregulator-type peptide, Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro (KEDP), described as a prostate peptide bioregulator. It is examined for gene-expression and proliferation markers in prostate-derived cells, within the family of very short peptides described largely by the Khavinson group. Supplied at 20mg as a lyophilised powder for in-vitro laboratory research only.
Prostamax is described as the prostate-associated tetrapeptide of the bioregulator family. The family hypothesis is that these peptides enter cells, reach the nucleus and interact with DNA or chromatin proteins to shift tissue-specific gene expression. In prostate-derived cell cultures, reports describe changes in proliferation markers and in expression of genes linked to differentiation. Most data come from a small number of laboratories, and the proposed mechanism remains unproven.
Laboratory designs use prostate epithelial cell lines and primary cultures, with proliferation and viability assays, qPCR of tissue-specific genes and immunostaining of epithelial markers. Chromatin-binding and uptake assays are carried out with labelled analogues, and identity is checked by HPLC and mass spectrometry. It is supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 20mg vial.

Questions
How is Prostamax related to Testagen?
Both are four-residue peptides from the same bioregulator family, and both begin with Lys-Glu-Asp. Prostamax ends in proline (KEDP) and Testagen in glycine (KEDG), and they are studied in different tissue models.
How is Prostamax supplied and stored?
It is supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 20mg vial. Keep it cold, dry and away from light, and reconstitute with a suitable laboratory diluent only when the material is needed.
Is Prostamax a medicine?
No. It is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not a medicine, food or supplement, and it is not for human or animal use. Buyers must be aged 18 or over.
