Research overview
Crystagen is a three-residue bioregulator-type peptide, Glu-Asp-Pro (EDP), also spelled Kristagen. It is studied in immune and thymic cell models, including T-cell markers and the ageing of immune cells in culture, and belongs to the family of very short peptides described largely by the Khavinson group. Supplied at 20mg as a lyophilised powder for in-vitro laboratory research only.
Crystagen is described as the immune and thymus-associated tripeptide of the bioregulator family. It is proposed to act on thymic and lymphoid cells by influencing gene expression, and the mechanism offered is an interaction with DNA or chromatin proteins. In lymphocyte and thymic cell cultures, reported findings include changes in differentiation markers and in genes linked to the senescence of immune cells. The work comes from a small number of groups and awaits wider replication.
Laboratory designs use lymphocyte cultures, thymocyte preparations and immune cell lines, with flow cytometry for T-cell markers, cytokine assays, qPCR panels and senescence staining. Because the sequence is only three residues, uptake and stability are typically measured with HPLC or mass spectrometry. It is supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 20mg vial.

Questions
Is Crystagen the same as Kristagen?
Yes. Kristagen is an alternative spelling listed among the synonyms for this tripeptide, Glu-Asp-Pro (EDP). Both spellings appear in sources on this family of peptides.
How should Crystagen be stored?
It is supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 20mg vial. Keep it cold, dry and away from light, and reconstitute with a suitable laboratory diluent only when the material is needed.
Is Crystagen a medicine?
No. It is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not a medicine, food or supplement, and it is not for human or animal use. Buyers must be aged 18 or over.
